You know what, she is too much as a mother. She has issues and she knows it. Her son is crumbling on the inside. She is even coercing how she wants people to respond to her. She seems like she is so unhappy and wrecked on the inside and she is ruining her son because she hasn't worked out her own issues. Love does not do what she is doing. She is being controlling with kindness. That's no different than being a bully and smiling after they hit you. I would hate to have a mother or even a friend like her. I had a friend like her, several and I got rid of all of them.

One day her rage will surface. Hopefully she will see the damage she has already done and apolgiize. She does not listen. Its hard watching her with her wild eyes, loud voice and BS reasoning. None of it is real. She has issues. Period!!!

If her son is going to succeed he needs to learn how to articulate in an interview and sit up straight. This will go a very long way in the world whatever direction he takes.

Great advise from Dr Swanson! Lifechanger's also needed a couple of "'real" band managers to tell this mom why what she is doing will end end holding her son back.

This is no different than beauty pageant moms. No self-respecting musician would agree to this arrangement. In the end, it will kill the band.
